Captured LIVE at the Bolshoi Theatre, Moscow on Nov 20, 2011. The first full-length ballet performed in the newly re-opened Bolshoi Theatre. An evil fairy throws a terrible curse upon princess Aurora. Fortunately, the Lilac Fairy lessens the curse: Aurora will be plunged into a deep sleep for a hundred years but will be awakened by a prince’s kiss. An updated production of Grigorovich’s Soviet Era version with memorable music by Tchaikovsky. 3 hrs (includes one intermission).
