I am a member and would like to reserve two seats for this showing. (Wed, April 14, 7:30 p.m.
I was sergeant of the guard for Rudolf Hess, the last Nazi prisoner in Spandau prison as a member of the Berlin Brigade in 1967-69. There is nothing that we should remember more than the Holocaust. It shows us the utter ubiquity of existential evil, and the absolute necessity for all citizens to be prepared to do anything to defend against that evil.
Dear Sir:
What an ordeal you must have endurd at Spandau. It’s a side of the story rarely told, since slick stereotypes are so much easier to write. I write a weekly personal column (and always with much discretion .. I am not young and eager to embarrass anyone ever) and would love to meet you and write about your story. Could that be possible?
Please give it some thought and contact me at Sharonlschlegel@gmail.com
Hoping to hear from you,
