Winter's Bone

This bleak, but utterly enveloping narrative, set in the impoverished Ozarks of southwestern Missouri, follows a teenage girl’s determined journey to uncover the truth behind her father’s disappearance.  Winner of this year’s Sundance Film Fest, this is honest and unflinching filmmaking at its finest.  With as memorable and vivid a heroine as you are likely to see on the screen this year.  Starring Jennifer Lawrence.

See this movie! It is incredible; I saw it twice, as did a friend of mine, who rarely sees a movie a 2nd time. The acting will blow you away!
