Two teenage children get the idea to seek out their unknown birth father and introduce him to their two mothers (Annette Bening and Julianne Moore). Once the donor (Mark Ruffalo) is found, household dynamics quickly become scrambled and confused. A crowdpleasing,feel-good comedy for an era inwhich the very definition of “family” is up for grabs.
