Big Band Era
There’s nothing like the power and sound of a big band heard live as The Nocturnes re-create the swinging jazz sound of the Big Band Era, performing many original scores from the 30’s and 40′s through the present. The band brings standards and classics to life made famous by music legends like Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, Henry Mancini, Tommy Dorsey, the Gershwin brothers and many others.
Lobby doors will open at noon to enjoy a pre-event raffle and refreshments. Admission is $20 each in advance and $25 each the day of the performance.

A great group of musicians and they will be playing their hearts out!
Go see and listen and enjoy and take two friends.
And book them for your next party; you’ll be glad you did!

I’ve heard this swinging band on several occasions and they are truly great – before you know it, your feet are tapping to the music and your mouthing the lyrics – this music from the 40′s is vintage American – it’s something each generation needs to hear – So, buy tickets; bring your kids and grandkids; support a great cause while swinging.
