The Descendants
Director Alexander Payne (Sideways, About Schmidt) returns with his first new film since 2004. Set in Hawaii, THE DESCENDANTS is a sometimes humorous, sometimes tragic journey starring George Clooney. He plays an indifferent husband and father, who is forced to re-examine his life after his wife suffers a serious boating accident. He then takes his two daughters on a trip from Oahu to Kauai to confront his past and to change his future.
