Drive
A hyper-stylized blend of striking imagery and violence, DRIVE is a fully realized vision of arthouse action. Ryan Gosling stars as a Los Angeles driver for hire, stunt driving for movie productions by day and steering getaway cars by night. He’s cool enough to be the next Steve McQueen. In fact, the whole film is so irresistibly stylish that Director Nicolas Winding Refn won the best director award at this year’s Cannes Film Festival for this noirish tale. It’s terrific, pulpy stuff. (But be forewarned: DRIVE punctuates its long stretches of cool, calculated menace with shocking spasms of graphic violence. If you have a low tolerance for blood, be ready to avert your eyes!)

I have a low tolerance for blood! When did “Point Blank” leave?
Point Blank left at the end of September after a 2 week run.
